Amen! We need a Reagan attitude toward Red China. Heck, we need someone to just start calling it Red China in public speeches. We should label it another evil empire and start working to strike it down the same way we collapsed the USSR. I would think all of those liberals in their Subaru Outbacks with "Free Tibet" bumper stickers would agree, right?

I find you analysis flawed. The Chinese are quickly becoming capitalist. You couldn't say that 20 years ago. As for there military expansion it isn't as bad as some would portray it. It's more like a period of modernization not gearing up to take over the world. If your put off by china's blocking of the presidents policies in the UN well they are not alone in doing that. So take a deep breathe stay away from the fox news and Glenn Beck shows and go about your business.

The Cold War ended, in favor of revising the Hot War.
There ceased to be any money in it for our Corporations, so they decided to knock it off and revert to the Hot War theme. Wars are not created by people, they are created by Corporations. In Viet Namn it was the Construction Corporations that made Billions from the blood and misery of our young men and women.

The cold war was between America and the Soviet Union. China is much trickier because we buy so much stuff from them. We didn't need to buy anything from the Soviet Union.
