3000 - 4000 people died on 9/11 we've killed between 43,000 and 48,000 Iraqis in the years since, that's not including our other wars, or the almost 3000 American soldiers. Soon more Americans will have died for 9/11 then actually died on 9/11. Doesn't seem worth it to me. Who are the terrorists again? I can think of one that lives in a big white house.

Remember Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.

Also remember that your chances of dying in a terrorist attack on US soil are absurdly low. You have a much much better chance of dying choking on a piece of meat or slipping in the shower, or smoking cigarettes or driving a car.

A terrorist is defined by the target of his killing and whether he is a uniformed representative of a government. If his target is an innocent civilian and he is not a soldier, then he is a terrorist. Note: A soldier targeting an innocent civilian would be tried for war crimes (not terrorism).

Wow. I'm suprised that the answers above this one are actually logical, and so was your question.

To be quite honest, terrorism has no unified definition. The UN tried to define terrorism and end up writing 1186 pages of nonsense. The fact is, every nation expands and contracts the definition to suit its current goals. For example, Lebanese people argue that Hezbollah are not a terrorist group because they're defending their country (which is true). The CIA helped and funded Al-Qaeda in the 90's, so at that time they weren't considered terrorists by the US. You see where I'm going? Governments and politicians twist truths and lie. It's as simple as that. So what I suggest is that you formulate your own definition of terrorism; because if you're going to depend on one country's definition, you're going to be seriously confused.

Terrorism is a business and its investors are the NeoCons..so therefore there is no real war on it...only the profit taking from it, and the back door funding of it.

The guy in the white house has to kill innocent people. If not, he gets shot when he goes to Dallas. Remember?

You're probably going to get yelled at for this one... You have a very good point and I've thought of that myself. But now I wonder, what consitutes legal killing?
