No I welcome immigrants with open arms. As a white woman I'm pretty sure all of my ancestors were illegal immigrants and I thank God they came here. Even though I don't like what they did to the native people of this country I feel blessed to be here and I'm glad my ancestors made the choice to try to find a better life for themselves. That's all the illegal immigrants of today want to.

They have modified. I was always vaguely disgusted, but not willing to hurt people, not knowing how bad the impacts were. Then the marches came, with the Mexican flags, and I was ready to deport everyone, no matter what.
Then I mellowed a bit but learned more of the impacts and became furious that with impacts that high, it wasn't front page news and top of our legislative agenda to stop the inflow. My priority is that the inflow of illegals be stopped, legal immigration be limited in a way protective of our schools and services, and the disproportionate percentage of bad guys, the 'twice illegal and gangbangers' and those living off our system be deported. The others I'd be willing to talk about, but I'd need to know we could actually control new inflow, since amnesty only gave us problems before. Also, I would not be ok with those here bringing more family except under other immigration quotas. There are already way too many, and our schools are failing.

No, I am against illegal immigration and if anything have become more so, especially since their marches. My first concern when I vote next month in Arizona will be the position the candidate holds on illegal immigration.

Not in the least I am still AGAINST it. I understand there are people in Mexico that want to come over here to create a better life for their families there are people all over the place that want that, but illegal immigration is not talking about one country - it is talking about ALL illegal immigrants from any country. Lets just open our doors anybody that wants to come in, do you open the door of your house to anybody - no you want safety so what's wrong about wanting safety in our COUNTRY. I think it's great that Americans care about other people that are less fortunate than us but they are not looking at the bigger picture.

Yes, my views against illegal immigration have increased this year, particularly with the protests and other things that have been going on.
In my opinion, US citizens have the right to protest in the streets to demand public welfare and support, not a bunch of criminals. I also feel more strongly now that we should not be footing the bill for education and medical care for illegals.

the controversy has in basic terms served to enhance my reliable thoughts against unlawful immigration. i decide on the unlawful immigrants all deported, in spite of ways long it takes and how lots it costs, i decide on the borders sealed tight, and that i decide on the country secured from all invaders.
