The CIA has tried many times to kill him, obviously failing at every turn. A good example of the CIA's desperation goes back to their many failed attempts to off Kim Jong Il's friend and allie Fidel Castro with exploding conch shells...let me give you a chance to digest this particular absurdity. Exploding seashells and what have you, indicates the CIA is indeed grasping at straws in their attempts to off these crazies. They've also resorted to poisoning Castro's cigars and milkshakes.

I wouldn't want to wish harm on anyone, but offing Kim Jong Il would be cause for celebration, especially for the poor citizens of North Korea. Though, I'm afraid his top generals and other wackjob advisors are even more demented and radical.

He is not in the government, but they listen to him.

powerful people in both the US and China are getting tired of this little cretin's Kim Jong Il's antics.

I doubt Kim Jong Il is long for this world.
