I keep seeing the defense used that "we were all immigrants at one time". Of course we were, but we did it LEGALLY. Doesn't that make us American? You couldn't really be an American if you are an illegal immigrant, could you? If an illegal man and woman have a child, just because it is born in the US, does that make it a citizen in the eyes of the law?
Serious answers please!!

Why in recent Muslim rally's across London do the Police stand by and watch whilst extremists tell politicians to leave their religious enclaves and demand the execution of Tony Blair. When if the boot was on the other foot and there were extremists on the streets demanding the heads of muslim's the police would be locking everybody up? Has political correctness gone too far?

Oct. 5, 2006 — How bad is bad? After six weeks away from Iraq and returning to Baghdad, I find the city appears much worse than when I left.

Last week, according to a U.S. military spokesman, Baghdad experienced more attacks from car bombs and improvised explosive devices than at any other time this year. In the last six days, 24 U.S. soldiers have died in Baghdad, numbers that haven't been seen in the city since the 2003 invasion.

ABC's local Iraqi staff tell us the USA military will not visit certain neighborhoods due to so many attacks.

The U.S. military said the reason for the increased casualty rate is that U.S. troops are now aggressively engaging the enemy, and they expected some push back. Military experts say this could end up like Vietnam. The USA military admits the war is getting harder to fight everyday.
