Well that question brings about a lot of other questions. Do you want it to snow all year or be hotr all year or do you like the change of seasons. Do you want low crime and lots of people around. PLaces like minnesota have low crime because they have huge areas of very low population. I myself like Maryland. It has everything. Mountains, country, oceans, bays, lakes. Climate has 4 seasons but never gets beastly hot and never gets much below 20 degrees in winter. Not too much rain and plenty of sunshine. 3 Major Cities not much more than an hour away(that are pretty clean) Crime rate in most counties is low. Modernized in most areas. People are still friendly. Hold doors open for other people, say Hi as you go past, help each other out if needed. I have lived all over because we were military. Maryland may be small but it has everything you need.

Every State has pluses and minuses. Some have great weather and beaches, but are too crowded. Some have beautiful beaches, but the have hurricanes. Others have beautiful farmlands and forests. Some have big cities with theater, museums, and lots of culture. Some States trade open spaces for hot climate and on and on. All of them can be great places to live.

Colorado. I visited it, and loved it. Especially western Colorado. And of course, I love my home state, Washington. Oh, how I miss it!
