anyone who votes a straight ticket is not inclined to think about the issues! They are content to allow others to think for them

I think that is a personal issue for a voter who is going to vote a straight republican ticket. Know one can really read whats on their mind or how they think about hings. They can say one thing and then turn around and do something else. But I do think that there is a strong possibility that these issues will sway some of the straight ticket voters.

It should be hard for anyone with an IQ over 55. There is no way either party can represent 100% of what a person believes in. I haven't voted party line since I was old enough to vote. But I do always vote. I feel that if you can vote and don't, then you should just shut up and suffered for not making a choice.

You shouldn't limit your voting to a straight ticket. You should consider all the candidates and the issues and vote for what feel right to you. It really doesn't matter what party a person is connected to...it is all about what they are going to do once they get into office.

Is voting a straight ticket hard to do for Democrats, considering all the problems this country is facing caused directly by liberal humanism? Let's take a closer look:

(1) Democrats preach "you have a right to be happy" and "you deserve to have whatever you want" so credit card debt, bankruptcy, and foreclosures are at an all-time high -- what ever happened to working hard and earning what you have?

(2) Democrats preach "you have to decide what's right and wrong for you based on what you think and how you feel," so now that the moral standard has been removed crime is going up, as is child abuse/neglect/molestation, and only here in the U.S. did the unthinkable happen -- not only has a totally perverse organization known as NAMBLA been declared as morally and socially acceptable, the Democrats claim this organization is Constitutionally protected!!!

(3) Democrats advocate rehabilitation over punishment and say "we have to understand why criminals are the way they are and what made them the way they are." Study after study has proven that rehabilitation DOES NOT WORK, yet the liberals continue their criminal crusade. As a result, criminals have more rights than victims of crime, they're given a walk on any technicality (especially if it involves allegations of racial, ethnic, or gender discrimination) and they're coddled by a correctional system that is required BY FEDERAL LAW to provide them with such luxuries as cable TV and Internet access -- we have law-abiding citizens living in abject poverty that can't afford a TV or a computer, but those who have put themselves above the law get to live like royalty?!?!!

(4) Democrats champion the rights of animals and say "meat is murder," but when you ask them about an unborn human being the mantra becomes "My body, my choice." 1.5 million innnocent babies SLAUGHTERED every year in state-sanctioned murder known as abortion, which is again supported by the Democrat teaching of "you have a right to be happy" and "you have to decide what's right and wrong for you based on what you think and how you feel" and they have the gall to criticize conservatives for eating beef?!?!!

(5) Democrats are openly critical of the war in Iraq -- how quickly they change their tune and get their lap-dogs in the mainstream liberal media to forget that CONGRESS approved the war with a popular vote that included almost as many Democrats as it did Republicans. Better yet, why don't we back-pedal about ten years to a time when a Democrat was President and he sent U.S. troops to handle enemies that posed a major threat to our national security and our citizens in -- BOSNIA?!??!!?!?!! KOSOVO?!?!?!????!!? Did they ever attack us? Did anyone from that destabilized region ever plan and execute a terrorist action that harmed or killed even ONE American citizen? Yet in 1999, when the Sudanese government offered up Osama bin Laden on a silver platter that President swiftly responded by doing -- NOT A DAMN THING.

(6) Democrats are so quick to point to Tom Foley, and while there is no question that Foley's actions were immoral and unethical (and possibly illegal), how long did the Democrats know about it? Reports indicate the Democrats may have known about this for as long as THREE YEARS. Why was nothing said before now? Why is it that this comes out in an election year less than two months before the election? Liberals scream their outrage and say that any Republican who helped cover this up for Foley should be removed from office, but what about the Democrats who knew and did NOTHING?!?!! And while we're on the subject, if the Democrats want to remove any Republican who knew about Foley, then it's time to remove every Democrat who was aware of the Clintons' involvement with Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, and/or the Whitewater fiasco; and ditto that for every Democrat who knew about Ted Kennedy and the Chappaquiddick incident -- shall I go on?

BOTTOM LINE: Liberals need to get off their high horses and realize their own hypocrisy. Conservatives don't have it all right and don't do everything correctly, but at the very least conservatives still understand that freedom is not free and with freedom comes responsibility -- and as long as that big long "R" word is blasphemy to liberals I'll continue to vote a straight Republican ticket (and that won't change any time soon -- Democrats are great at pointing out the errors of others and telling other people what to do, but if you question a liberal's actions, motives, or integrity, the answer you invariably get is "Who are you to tell me what's right or wrong or what I can and can't do?")

It seems to me it would be hard to vote for a straight repuglican ticket, after all I wonder now who is straight and who is gay. I think we have just seen the tip of the iceburg with the repuglican cover up of just this one thing.

When the option is Dems in charge of security, Dems with page scandals and Dems who have continued to thwart efforts to correct the immigration problem, it make it a lot easier.
