wouldn't it be easier to get to them through the people/companies who are employing them? At least the government has records of the American's who own the businesses. I know this is a simple "solution" but it seems that if they couldn't find honest work, they would eventually stop trying? So, shouldn't we just use the "border wall" money to put enormous pressure on the employers? Serious responses only. Please take 5 minutes to ponder this and then come back and answer. I am not looking for silly insults, I am looking for reasons why this would or would not work. Thanks!

In the 80's and 90's Iraq had 5 star hotels, many excellent resaurants, casinos, disco's. You could walk the streets at night without a problem. No one in normal life discriminated between christians(roman catholic or orthadox), sunnis, shiat, sabien or the Armenian comunity etc.
Even under sanctions the government gave all citizens generous rations free of charge, Rice, flour meat etc, they are now starving.
Healthcare was free to all.
Now people are being killed wholesale and the life is hell.
The Iraqi's as it has been proven do need strong governance, and they had it.

Please keep your answers focused on Bush. Not Clinton. Not Pelosi or anyone else in government. I'm asking only about George W Bush, about decisions or policies of his that you are feel are wrong or inconsistant with your conservative values (if you are a conservative).

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that the world is halfway to reaching the nightmare hellish prediciton of 1984. You still have a majority of the world who are open minded! If you could create a check list of procedures that the current government (any country) is following, what would they be? and what country is it being done in.

IE:
phase ?: Control what should be taught in public schools. (Australia)
Phase/stage ?: Make the poor even poorer and uneducated for 100% compliance. (Philippines)

I am in no means wanting to offend others. G. Orwell has got his prediction dead on with current world affairs. 1984 is only a book. What are real world examples happening now?

I filled out all forms, went for the interview and photo/fingerprint session, and received a letter saying my request was approved and my card had been sent. I have waited 30 days and it hasn't arrived. I called the number on the letter, and received no real help.

I was told that I'd have to fill out I90 again and pay again. This looks like a scam. Is there anything more I can do to check status? This is a green card renewal, my present one runs out in February 2007.

Newmarket Films set itself an unusual challenge when it decided to release the controversial faux investigative documentary "Death of a President" just six weeks after acquiring the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival last month.

But it might face an even more formidable obstacle because several major theater chains are refusing to play the film, which mixes real news footage with dramatized segments depicting the fictional 2007 death of President Bush.

Newmarket, the 12-year-old Los Angeles-based film financing, production and distribution company, plans to open the film October 27, just in time for the November 7 election.

"Yes, it's controversial," Newmarket co-founder Chris Ball said. "It's quite a compelling political thriller. In many ways it is sympathetic to George Bush. It talks about a rush to judgment. In no way is it a call for violence."

But the country's largest theater chain, Regal Entertainment Group, has passed on playing the film, citing

Why women have abortions
1% of all abortions occur because of rape or incest; 6% of abortions occur because of potential health problems regarding either the mother or child, and 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons (i.e. the child is unwanted or inconvenient).

then it would be just like Mexico..unirrigated..with no good schools, hospitals, shopping, commerence, good paying jobs, AMERICANS, roads, wireless network, cable , electricity..etc.

So what do you think...Do they want this land for spiritual rerasons from thier Aztec roots...or because they like living in a developed country?

because I don't see the rich people of Mexico City complaining and soul searching thier "brown" roots.
