The issue remains under study. The Mau Mau, or some of them, are trying to sue. I doubt they will get very far. It's quite different from the case of the soldiers training in Kenya who, some women said, had raped them. In most cases, the claims were proven fraudulent.
Colonialism is a sad story, but that was a different generation. Where to you start, where do you stop, paying compensation? For things our ancesters did to your ancestors?

I firmly have confidence Italy could apologise and pay us repayment. We did no longer invite the Romans here in England. The Mau Mau have been responsible for great abuses including Killing, Raping, Mutilation and Burnings. we could constantly arrest those mutts, they appear like happy with being area of the Mau Mau. All this load of crud is approximately is Human Rights legal professionals making a load of money. Why is Desmond TuTu getting in touch?

These are the same Mau-mau's that chopped up innocent civilians, you want the U.K. to apologise to them?
Maybe London should apologise for Ghengis Khans' little trip around Europe too. Or what about London apologising for Napoleon leading Europe into another dreadful war, or London apologising for Hitler, you want us to apologise for that too?

Maybe the Mongolian government could apologize to the Chinese, Russians, Austrians, etc for Genghis Khan; the Iranians to the Indians; the Afghans to the British; the British to the Afghans; the Greeks to the Pelasgians... The list would be endless.
