then it would be just like Mexico..unirrigated..with no good schools, hospitals, shopping, commerence, good paying jobs, AMERICANS, roads, wireless network, cable , electricity..etc.

So what do you think...Do they want this land for spiritual rerasons from thier Aztec roots...or because they like living in a developed country?

because I don't see the rich people of Mexico City complaining and soul searching thier "brown" roots.

It is all a crock. Some of the land they lost in the war they started, and the rest they sold, fair and square.

It would be interesting, though, if they got it back to see how long it would take for it to turn into a s***hole, like the rest of their country.

This question is too stupid to deserve a relevant answer. For the hundredth time, Aztlan is a myth like Atlantis and Oz, created in the 60s by political radicals. Mexico has a very old (and new) infrastructure with all the technology available to the civilized world. It has a burgeoning economy, job creation, excellent higher education. I hope that people look beyond the day workers and know that Mexico is our ally working hard to find a place in world commerce. No Aztec roots in the American Southwest except in community colleges.

Aztlan is a mythical place, made up by a professor in the 60's. I don't trust too much that came from the sixties.
This is an excuse used by people who do not want to leave a good thing(good wages, opportunity, etc). Mexico has always resented the Treaty of Guadalupe HIdalgo. As for Mexico, yes, many people there do live nicely. But you must remember that not everyone there is of the rich elite. There is not much of a middle class, unemployment is high(around 40%), and corruption is rampant. Many people in Mexico live in shambles for homes, and sanitation is not always so great.

Aztlan is supposed to be near Mexico City and not the American southwest. It is a mythical place.
And like all myths/fantasy's will not become reality.
The USA owes Mexico nothing, facts and history speak loudly and clearly on this.
There is no place in America for your Aztlan.

I'm sorry, I don't buy into the whole "going to Aztlan" excuse. If it were true, there wouldn't be so many illegal immigrants in Chicago, where I live. Aztlan was no where near Chicago!

Considering there is no "Aztlan" land, I would think not. It's just another ignorant excuse people will use to justify taking over land they don't own.
