A persons religion should not matter generally. Being an Indian, I have seen irresponsible statements made by Muslim personalities like Aamir Khan-This is a person who has got fame, fortune in India, and I think everyone would go out of the way to help him and support him if anyone ever tries to harm him-What does this man do? He says he's scared in India because of his religion. The best thing would be to stop running to the other nations with your smallest complaints and grouses, appreciate the benefits that India has given the Muslims publically and for heaven sake's stop some of your fellow Muslims from being Pakistan's stooges, remember every Muslim has been assimilited into Indian society, the Pakistani's don't give equal footing to the Muslims who migrated from India in 1947, still treat them as 2nd class citizens even after almost 60 years. Start truly considering this nation as your own, truly with your mind and soul.

Look at the Muslims in every field of life in India-right from the current president Abdul Kalam to Fakhrudddin Ali Ahmed to so many people in the sports fields-Irfan Pathan, etc., just to name a few, In India, actually being a normal Hindu goes against you-all the sops are given to the minorities and the so called scheduled castes and tribes, being of normal Hindu lineage is more of a liability, than an asset. A Hindu is discriminated against at every stage in life-right from birth - the school level to death.

Talking about Muslims, in a bid to be secular, all political parties overdo the appeasement bit, giving more facilities to minorities than to the majority of the populace. Even Muslim nations don't give the kind of sops to Muslims that India gives them. Talk of one of the supposed freest countries in the world -the USA, how are Muslims treated there? Or the recent Dutch fiasco with 13 Muslim airline passengers being treated worse than the Dutch treat even their own animals? And what of the treatment meted out to Indian Muslims even in the Middle East?

A conscious effort on the part of Indian Muslims to get in to the main stream and not ask for concessions on the basis of their religion should go a long way in ensuring the integration of India.

This applies not just to Indian Muslims but any one who is being looked upon as different.

Most minorities around the world seek protection by differentiating themselves n this is the main reason y they are discriminated against.

If u r a Muslim and an Indian it is a great question u have asked…. Go ahead mingle with the salt of this great nation n u will be treated as equal.

What you have suggested are actually not data. i'm a Muslim and additionally an Indian; yet I even have not been taken care of badly. As a foreigner in case you visited India and observed few incidents those incidents are actually not sufficient to return to a accepted end. between beggers there are human beings of all communities and that they are being chased out by human beings of all communities and not in basic terms by Hindus; because of the fact interior the guise of beggars many a circumstances we hit upon robbers and different anti social components. the area is on the alternative. Hindus are an particularly tolerant race and understand to handle all and sundry as a targeted visitor; and that they regard a targeted visitor as a manifestaion of God himself. India, Hindus, and Indians are very state-of-the-paintings establishments and would take years for a guy or woman to appreciate formerly coming to any conclusions. India itself is a miracle which no different us of a has yet been able to reproduction of replica.

Whatever they do for thier country they will always be cornerd, alienated, discreminated people.

This has to be kept in mind and tell me what is mainstream ?

Name any field where muslims are lagging behind ...

For Mr narendra K ... perhaps he doesnt know that provision of crores of Rs is made every year in the annual budget of Orrisa,
Tamilnadu, Kerala etc for Temples.

He also doesnt know about Common Civil Code. It is the hindus who will be opposing it as there are different customs and usages amongst hindus rather than in muslims.

Now for Mr Bing Tall... he is playing with words only. I will be glad if he clarifies what actually does he mean to say ?

Despite all the disparity there is no field where the muslims have not left imperishable impression.

How about Dilip Kumar, Nargis, Madhubala, Sharukh, Amir ,Salman etc etc...?

How about Azharuddin, zaheer Khan, Pathan, Munaf, Jafar etc etc...?

How about Mohd. Rafi, Naushad, A.R.Rehman, Talat Mehmood etc etc ..?

The list goes on , APJ Abdul Kalam, Maulana Azad, Dagar Brothers, Bismillah Khan, Amjad Ali, and thousands others which I can not mention here and you can not read either, who have contributed to the country despite all disparity.

But despite all this Muslims of India should never forget that it is thier motherland and nobody can stop them loving it. They will love it till the end of the world.

JAI BHARAT....

Most people would not know if you're Muslim or not by looking at you. I am a Christian but do not announce it to every one I meet.
you will see discrimination if you look for it.

But if you work, work hard.
Do your job as best you can
Be kind to your fellow man
Be sure to follow the letter of the law

The chances of being discriminated against are slim. Most discrimination or what is more likely " perceived discrimination"
are declared by people who were offencive to others in their declaration of belief. people who failed to adhere to basic company policies regarding to their employment and who made poor personal choices that left them in undesirable positions within their community.

If you are offencive, involved in criminal activity, or failing to foll ow company policy-

negative outcomes from that kind of behaviour are not discrimination they are disciplinary reprimands. Clean up your act!!
people blame their religion and heritage on a daily basis in America for circumstances that are really the result of their own poor choices.
Take the welfare mom with 5 kids - she isn't on welfare because she's black, white, or yellow - she's on welafre because she's too dumb to pop a pill.

On the name of minorities Indian muslims are getting more facilities which are not available even in muslim countries. Like Haj concessions & muslim personal law. They should except common law to eleminate discrimination.

Don't think I understand..

If you feel discriminated against because of your aspect, get away from people who treat you differently thinking you are a terrorist. Often it is based on illiteracy, and a closed mind
