Lemmings all go over a cliff together, into the sea. Can't the Administration adapt and change in any way? Do we have to fail two more years?
Can the USA take "stay the course"?
Are "talking points" a valid way to govern?

You do have to be an idiot to stay the course when you know you are sailing into the eye of a hurricane. Of course how many of us sail?
Talking points are geared to those souls of diminished capability who cannot but utter 'stay the course', 'cut and run', 'fight them there, so we don't have to fight them here' and the always incredible 'Mission Accomplished'. It keeps them from having to think independently and to realize there are many more solutions than the 'black or white' the administration likes to pretend there are.
I think they have dug themselves such a very deep rut that they can neither see over the top, nor lift themselves up out of it.

If staying the course mean what has happened the last 4 years in Iraq, then well yes. 3000 more dead soldiers, the debt increasing by at least 5 trillion dollars, and the Iraqi security forces being inept that they can't controll the country. Not to mention civil war.

"Stay the course" is about being 100% pig-headed. Somehow, Bush has convinced himself that refusing to admit he was wrong is better than taking the chance of getting it right. When no amount of evidence to the contrary will convince someone that they are going down the wrong path, the technical term for that is delusional...

Well, when you fail and you say stay the course, wouldn't that set you up for more failure. The Bush administration just does not get it.

It's not about a "war on terror", "fighting for freedoms", or "staying the course". It's REALLY all about THIS!...

You've got it. "Stay the course" really means "don't question our failed policies". Otherwise, you are some kind of anti-American.

Do you want us to fail?
Sounds like you are wishing us the worst.

We are not whipped yet. Not by a long ways.
