I don't think America is quite like Hitler's Socialist Nationalist Party of the 30's and 40's, latterly referred to as the NAZIS but it does have some very serious political and social problems.
What your question describes, is a text book Fascist State, which the US most certainly is. Rampant paranoia, the Media and Judiciary being owned by Government and big business. Putting the military first at the expense of social programs that would benefit the people and interfering with the electoral process are all signs of a Fascist State.
I think the US is in a very precarious position at the moment and its current machinations on the World stage are the first signs of its death throes. Unless the US stops being isolationist and confontationalist and begins to moderate its foreign policy, the US is doomed to be an inward looking dinosaur.
Last but not least, the US' thinly veiled attempts to severely dilute democracy at home whilst espousing it at every touch and turn overseas, not to mention invading other sovereign nations without good reason, is not winning it any friends and is very damaging to the few friends that the US has got left.

you'll have to enlighten me on what books the us banned since the first ammendment prevents them from doing so. business corruption happens everywhere - get over it. pow camps... i don't believe the nazis had those - they just killed the people they captured. covert spying on citizens? that's a laugh! they are not going to waste all kinds of money spying on an anverage ordinary citizen - they have a reason to spy on you (and the fbi has always done this). what is this mass accepted death toll you speak of? many us citizens are whining about that and our leader and his cronies. biased media - yeah, always been that way, watch multiple channels and you'll the other viewpoints. increased detaining laws for our own protection, again - get over it. there is always collatoral damage in a war. how is the mission accomplished like the final solution - we did not attempt genocide. i do agree with the "your either with us or against us" not working for me either, it seems childish. i will always support the troops, but i do not always support the way they are told to do things. and republicans (in my mind) are yutzes anyway...

Well, when you put it that way....no.
The spying wasn't as covert as it should have been (um, hello, it was reported in our MAINSTREAM media!), and our president is not egomaniacal. Where do you get that?
Habeas corpus has been suspended before. It's common in times of war.
Biased media? Yeah, it's all slanted. That's what happens when you have FREEDOM OF THE PRESS.
The saying "You're either with us, or against us" is in reference to terrorism. In other words, if a country is not HELPING us to rid the world of terrorism, then they are impeding our progress. And yes, non-terrorists ARE superior to terrorists, regardless of race. You're taking that quote WAY out of context.
Actually, I would say that most of what you state as your line of reasoning is taken out of context. POW camps? Oh yes, no other country has ever had POW camps. Our government is not to blame for the actions of a few. Those who were involved in torture are being punished. That doesn't sound like a "Nazi" government to me.
The fact that you can even post a question like this without worrying about the gestapo showing up at your house is evidence that we are NOT under a "Nazi" regime.
Study history before you make such claims.

Agree with your talking points, but, never, to go so far as referring to the government as Nazis. There's a whole world of difference. Read up on The Third Reich.

A bunch of people seem to think so, usually living under a Nazi like form of government and trying to get to the US. Funny how that works, huh? I guess that's why there is such a big influx of Americans trying to get to Europe.

Not even close. You may want to think about reading some more about how the Nazis governed. Especially the nations they conquered, like Poland.

It is starting to seem that way, but if you look at any major governments in the world, you can find similarities between it and the Nazi government.
