First; Foley is a pedophile - not the same thing as gay.
Second; Republicans are not what they pretend to be - they are really just like all other politicians.

They are really just corrupt self serving individuals who tell people whatever the people want to hear - once they are elected they do whatever makes them personally the most money.

Why not? Republicans aren't opposed to homosexuals, though some conservatives are.
I'm a moderate. I don't agree with the homosexual lifestyle, but they have a right to exist just like anyone else.
Republican is a political party. Conservative is a mindset. So is "liberal."

Because they are Fiscal Republicans. More worried about the financial side.Its hard to fit perfectly into a party when your choices are limited.
