...the illnesses of others??

Foley is a sick man, yet they dance in the proverbial streets because someone suffers from pedophelia. Is a liberal's happiness based on the downfall of others?

It does to me.

When President Bush took office in January 2001:

DOW was at 10.578.24
It had declined almost 10% from its high during the last year of the Clinton Presidency. As of today, the Dow Industrials stands 10.8% above when Bush took office. In spite of 9-11, Enron/Tyco/etc malfeasance...

NASDAQ was at 2757.91 when Bush took office, and had lost almost half of its value from the top of the Internet bubble, and was still in rapid retreat. By the end of March 2001, less than 6 weeks after Clinton left office, the bubble finally had lost most of its air and the Nasdaq stood at about 1820. Clearly nothing Bush did in less than 6 weeks caused that continued drop.

Today, we are at a level of 2246, almost 25% above the bubble burst bottom. (There was a later 9-11 bottom as well).

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A roadside bomb killed fifteen U.S. soldiers since Saturday evening as they were patrolling in northern Baghdad, the U.S. military said in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement gave no other details.

The deaths bring to 15 the number of U.S. military personnel killed in Iraq since Saturday. The USA is getting a hell of a beating.

Roadside bombs detonated by insurgents are the most lethal weapon facing the U.S. military in Iraq. U.S. military officials have increasingly voiced concern over explosives with shaped chargers that can penetrate armor. However, Bush says everything is alright. The Marines wonder why this war is not easy. Three years ago they were told the war would be a cake walk. What happened?

There is a substantial rumor going about that Howard Dean is dying of TERMINAL CONSTIPATION and is SO FULL of unexcreted poop that the FBI has placed him on a suicide-bomber-risk watch list !!!

You know Howie--failed surgeon, former governor of New Hamster (or wherever), self-destructed presidential hopeful and current chairman of the National Communism Party of the USA.

Here're some pictures that add credence to the rumors:

My boyfriend was put in prison 17 years ago for attempted murder. It was a self defense thing. Anyhow my ex-husband is pitching a fit that I am with this guy and is threatening to take my son from me. My boyfriend is the nicest guy you'd ever meet. He treats me like a princess and adores my son. We've never been happier. He is no threat and has paid for his actions. He has turned his life around and is making a good life for himself. Is there any way my ex-husband has a chance to take my son from me? He thinks the courts will side with him and everyone I've talked to says he doesn't have a leg to stand on. What do you think?

I don't think Pedophiles can control there desire for children, in a way, we who are not attracted to children should feel lucky. So what is the answer:
Life in prison for sexual offenders?
Chemical Castration?
Also, I don't think the legal age of consent should be any lower than 18

When the "you-know-what" hit the fan. They hid. We found one and the other one is hiding so well ( in an allied country that we cannot invade) we can't locate him.

WHY don't people realize these are COWARDS.
And cowards are VERY DANGEROUS in the fact that they will be the first to employ the "scorched earth" philosophy.
They have nothing to lose (because they are losers) and so will not think twice about dropping "the bomb"

THIS IS WHY we do not want these rogue nations to have nuclear power.

I've recently found myself without insurance and I'm fairly certain that my income qualifies me for the programs offered. I live in St. Johns in Portland OR. I also think I could qualify for SSI and for an Oregon Trail Card(food stamps for anyone who doesn't live in OR). I'm not trying to take advantage of the government or the system, I'm just trying to feed my family and give us clothes to wear so any help on where to go or what to do would help.

Pro-life groups are lamenting the demise of a piece of legislation they say is supported by 80 percent of Americans -- a bill that would have required a minor girl's parents to be informed before she had an abortion, and that would have punished individuals who transported a minor across state lines for an abortion in order to circumvent parental notification laws in the girl's home state.

I went to BBC News online (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/5402756.stm) and they have a column that reported in the text that "various charities associated with militant groups also responded [to the Pakistani earthquake]"

Yeah right, so I know that the UN charity organization was down there too...but what maks me unnerving about this, is that the newscaster also reports/claims that these Muslim militant groups and their funding have tried to brainwash the poor victims of the earthquake into their militant camps!!!

What is the world coming to!! I have an Indian co-worker and he knows first hand of this country, he says they have hostile relations...Then I read another bit of news and Amnesty International is accusing Pakistan of cashing in on the war on terror for the US....
http://web.amnesty.org/library/Index/ENGASA330382006
This is all too unnerving for the future of mankind and I don't know why I'm worrying about this when I have to finish 12 things off my to-do list

I was arrested and now i have to return to court.. does anyone have any legal advise for me? Do you know any good criminal Lawyers in LA County? I know what I did is wrong but now I have to do whatever I can to fix it (if possible). I really need to know if a public defender would defend me good just like a private lawyer.. I have no family here in the United States so I can't go to jail because my kids would be left by themselves. Please if anyone has heard, witnessed, works, seen anything related to this problem, be kind enough to give me the information. Thank you again!

Why wasnt the issue of Gerry Studds ever brought up? he was a democratic congressman who had SEX with a 17 year old boy. he admitted it, but he never apologized for it. he said it was no one's business. he never resigned, but rather he ran again for the position, and was successful. so why is Foley getting so much crap from the dems about a few emails? the dems accuse the reps of not taking responsibility, but why didnt Studds resign the way Foley did at least? why was he reelected after everyone, even voters knew about it?

Here is the story:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061001/ap_on_re_mi_ea/israel_palestinians_13

Palestinian government workers are demanding to be paid, but there's no money. So they are protesting and all Hamas can do is stall, and now they've killed seven with guns and a hand grenade. I think they are huge hypocrites after crying for years that Israel oppresses them, now they are doing the same thing to their "fellow" palestinians.
I think they are done; Al Aqsa Brigade has ordered Hamas leaders killed. Will Hamas still be leading the country next fall?
