Is democracy in present day actually dictatorship hidden in manipulated data expressing what they want us to believe & act to the liking of the egos in power? Has freedom been lost by our blindness to adverts illustrative of collective thinking that is forced reality based on the manipluated data?

That's what it seems like.....I have heard the emails ref. to as "naughty emails"(Tony Snow)....and so forth. Is that really wise?.what a lame argument...why isn't the religious right screaming about this?..I thought being gay was the equivalent to being satan as far as that group was concerned?...yet they have been unusally silent.

How would you feel if someone sent your son an email like that?

My friend was driving and he got pulled over for DUI it was my car so they gave me a DWI allowance. I was asleep. My preliminary hearing is tomorrow...has anyone had this happen to them before?? Im freakin out cuz i dont want to have a DUI on my record...PLEASE HELP...is there anything i have to worry about or am i stressing for no reason?? Oh it was in camden county on the AC expressway.

I've been struggling to get my evil medical insurance company to pay all of the maternity fees that we were billed recently. They've basically only payed up to a certain amount ($3500), but not paying the full amount (the remaining $2100).
The bill for the obstetric care was $5600, so they are expecting me to pay a $2100 difference! Note that this doctor WAS in-network, so the service should be paid at 100%.

From the research I've done, it generally costs between $5,000-$8,000 for a normal vaginal delivery. So why they are cutting the funds at $3500 is beyond me.

Since something like childbirth is a normal and medically-necessary procedure, could this insurance company be sued for failing to pay the full amount?
And if so, what type of laywer would I need to look into contacting?

The school violence, kids and grown men bringing guns to school and killing children. This is getting way out of hand. There have been 4 in the past month(that I know of). I just dont get it. Who is protecting our kids? The government spend billions on trying to take care of other countries and their problems. Can't they come up with a way to make school a safer place for America's children? This really upsets me.

There's a programme on ITV in which pregnant women who binge drink say the Government does not provide them with guidelines on safe drinking during pregnancy. If the Government provides guidelines on diet during pregnancy, it would surely be accused of running a nanny state. So what do people want the Government to do? Have we as a nation lost the ability to distinguish what is good from what is bad and to look after ourselves? Do you have sympathy for these women?
