Reduce poverty to regain the family element, educate our children and quit using fear tactics with politics to get your way. I see a boiling mental illness raging across the United States over certain freedoms, and opportunities that aren't available for everyone. Money is the basis for 3/4 of America's competitive drive. 1/3 of America works full time and collects food stamps, and Medicaid. Something isn't right here when Americans become so greedy, as to lower the poverty levels and raise the American pie levels to un-doable in most cases. The American people are depressed, and confronted with numerous failures to over come with the addition of the old overwhelming problems they couldn't overcome in the first place. Depressed people act out with violence, and suicide when backed into an impossible corner.

The main cause is that the pedophile problem of Foley was beginning to get too much news coverage. Had it continued, there was a possibility of the whole Franklin cover-up rearing its ugly head again, and revealing that most of the senior politicians are pedophiles, as a result of their initiation into the New World Order through organisations like the Skull and Bones.
So there was a need for something else to hit the headlines.
Therefore an MK-ULTRA mind control victim, like the one who shot John Lennon, was wheeled out, did his job, and was disposed of so that no questions could be asked.
So the main cause is the CIA, the same ppeople who created and performed 9/11.

Parents need to invest themselves in their kids lives. School shootings have nothing to do with video games. They are the result of ineffective parenting and or abusive parenting. Ban firearms!! Are you nuts! That would escalate violence for sure. I can't understand why people think that would work. If firearms were banned, only the criminals would have them as they don't obey the laws anyway. This issue needs a solution that will repair the problem, not the symptoms. A gun has never killed anyone in the history of the world. It has always been PEOPLE killing other people. I have many guns in my house. And two small children. Since they were able to talk, I have educated them about firearms. I do not keep any of my firearms locked up. My kids know not to touch them. Education is the key, not banning or locking guns up where you can't get to them. that is asking for trouble.

There are more shootings because there are more psychopathic people mixed in with the general population than before. Gun control doesn’t stop outlaws from having guns. Just ask New York City where guns have been outlawed for many years. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to identify these murderers before they perpetrate their awful deeds. I wish there was a good answer to this problem, but I don’t see one anywhere in sight.

I belong to HFA (Handguns Free America) and most friends and family members stand by the NRA (National Rifle Association). Having guns in the house with small children is plain stupid and I don't care about how horrible it would be to take the amendment "right" away from Americans. If they have guns in the house, more than likely children will get a hold of them and tote them to school. It's factual, but nobody wants to listen, they want their "rights" over protecting innocent kids and people. What can be done? This is going to sound nuts - since we know it won't happen - but if I had it my way, the way it "should" be, only have cops carry guns.

I agree with the argument that we need stricter gun laws in the U.S. If the deranged had more trouble accessing these "weapons of mass destruction"...because that is exactly what they are....we would see a reduced a number in gun related violence. It is appaling that the policy makers do not see the co-relation and underlying cause of these very sad situations. Instead, we hear talk of violence in the media as a trigger. While I agree that continous subjection to violence on TV CAN de-sensitize some, these people who react adversely to it must already have sociopathic tendencies to begin with.
Get rid of the weapons that kill and we can directly impact the number of people exposed to these types of deaths.....

Take away all guns, knives, any weapon or object that can be used as a weapon. Allow only law enforcement to carry weapons. Then round up all the people who disagree and turn them into soap, lampshades, etc. It worked for the Nazis.
If you allow yourself to be panic-driven, and give up rights that millions have fought and died to protect over the actions of a few scattered lunatics, you are too stupid to be free, and need someone to watch over you. Until they turn you into soap or a lampshade.

We need strict gun control laws to be able to keep the guns away from children. It's a fact here that people are killed by guns due to the easy access people have to them.
