Fidel Castro is a Communist, and the red Scare did not help him win over our authorities. Cuba and Russia were allies in the course of the chilly conflict, and Russia positioned missiles on Cuba, which we blockaded. And no the CIA is the mandatory Intelligence company and that's administered through u.s. authorities.

It`s not the CIA. The CIA are the presidents personal bag of tricks. They do as ordered. Successive American regimes have tried to get rid of Fidel without any joy. Sanctions have hurt the Cuban people not Castro himself. Shake hands, make friends, move on. lifes too short for pointless grudges.
