That's what it seems like.....I have heard the emails ref. to as "naughty emails"(Tony Snow)....and so forth. Is that really wise?.what a lame argument...why isn't the religious right screaming about this?..I thought being gay was the equivalent to being satan as far as that group was concerned?...yet they have been unusally silent.

How would you feel if someone sent your son an email like that?

Tommy-while it may be true there are no charges at this point...I believe they are investigating the situation. But it sure sounds like you are trying to justify his actions....first b/c of the kids age...and second b/c there(may or may not) have been any sexual contact between the two.....but IMO where there is smoke there is fire.

Hey, wasn't Mary Kay Laternau's victim in high school? I guess we can just let her out 'cause he was of age to consent.

When you make laws, that means you have to obey them too. And just so you know, I know what I mean; the job of Congress, namely the House, is to make laws. That goes for someone who'd rather attack me than answer the question, because I've gotten that before.

Yes, suddenly it's perfectly ok with them that a 50 something year old man is sending sexually suggestive e-mails to a 16 year old boy.
Can you imagine the uproar if the old perv was not a Republican?
