lol, i do not know what there is to idolize, the whole administration including him, is a walking joke.

I would not like to go into detail of all they have managed to do in their time there but let me just point out a few small things they have done recently.

According to recent news, " The Bush Administration is stopping release of a report suggesting that global warming may be contributing to the frequency and strength of hurricanes, the journal nature reported several days ago."

"The war in Iraq had become a "cause celebre" for Islamic extremists, which is breeding deep resentment of the United States that is likely to get worse before it gets better, federal intelligence analysts conclude in a report at odds with Bush's talk of a world growing safer."

"Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice said she can not recall then-CIA cheif George Tenet warning her of an inpending al-Qaida attack in the United States, as a new book called State of Denial, claims he did two months before the attacks on Sept.11, 2001." She claims this even though Clinton left a comprehensive anti-terror strategy, for Bush which Bush then ignored.

if these people aren't sick jokes then i don't know what is. Conservatives support him for the obvious reasons, they want to protect their rotten buisnesses, they are religious fanatics, and they are just plain stupid.

Perhaps because the "libs" are so passionate about insulting him. They feel they have to defend him. I'm fairly neutral on him, myself. It's my opinion that there are some things he could have handled better, but we could also have done far worse.

Because he is doing what we believe Clinton should have done, and since Clinton is considered a hero among liberals, we don't ever want to see a democrat in office like that. So Bush is sort of like our savior in a way, but, not really

They aren't... the liberals just have to think that because they are so passionate about hating Bush that it would break their hearts to realize that all the conservatives don't really care what they think.

The people who idolize him seem him as a quasi-religious leader. He's a man of God who prays for guidance from the Lord, and God's hand helped to elect him.

Possibly because GWB has trampled on so many things the conservatives were for.

It is because he has kept his promises. He has defended the country. He has done his level best to restore basic values.

Bush is hated more so than Nixon, his supporters have had their natural defences triggered and defend the moron with blind devotion. Crazies, in my opinion.

It is almost a maternal instinct. The one where a mother will overprotect the dumbest one of all her children.
