Finally, today my agency completed the 2-week classroom training on how the jail operates. Next Monday I will be on the floor for two weeks with a senior officer.

Oh yeah . . . they hired me as a County Correction Officer in NJ.

Parts of me right now feels uncertain about this position, and want to resign. I guess it is a normal reaction because I am new to this type of work. On top of that thought, I am the smallest guy (5'8- 160 in my class besides a female. All others are like 200 pounds of fat.

What do you think? Am I overreacting?

I just married my fiancee from England, we needed an additional sponser to get him over here because I don't make enough money. Our daughter was concieved before he came over on his fiancee visa and has recieved Medicaid benefits. I'm unsure as to whether our joint sponser will be responsible for paying any future Medicaid benefits she might recieve. Am not sure whether I have to cancel her Medicaid now that her father and I have married.

I read this article in the Los Angeles Times about a "rebuilding" fair put on in New Orleans. The article talked about modular housing and it's new styles and technologies. I want to send information about modular housing to Hizballah because I think it will speed the rebuilding of Lebannon. I also want to send information about solar technology. In a land full of sun it only makes sense to have each housing unit produce it's own energy. I can't send the sheik any of this information without having an address at which to write him.

Let's see, tax free at about 60 hours a week claiming no income collecting freebies, Times their spouse at whatever an hour living in HUD with free lunch program plus food stamps...hhhmmmm, sounds better than blue collar life style to me. And to think the blue collars are financing this with the tax monies removed from their paycheck. Now I see why they drive SUV's with those immature impracticle wheels and tires. Nice sound system if only it didn't blast polka music all day!

My family is going through a crisis, to where my little brother is being blamed for something that he hasn't done.. All of his friends have turned against him and are telling a million lies that arent true.. the cops from our small town are harassing him... they don't go to our parents when they have a problem with him.. instead they stock him and arrest him ( he is 15 years old)! They question him when they aren't suppose to because he is a minor, his parents have to be there for them to do so... What are we suppose to do?? My brother never lies and he doesn't get into trouble because then that would mean he would get kicked off the football team, and football is his LIFE! I need someone professionally to help me out.. or if you know someone who can help let me know.. I have no money, we are pretty poor.. so yeah I need some help... thanks

Currently this summer, Iraq's have died at a rate of 1000 per month. This was more than under sadam. Sadam had to act like an *** because his people are heathens. It wasnt him ordering killings, it was his corrupt soldiers and his son. Cant blame parents for their kids actions. Of course I dont know how much of that is true. The united states admitted paying reporters for propaganda in miami. How much propaganda money did they spend on WMD's? Now why are we in IraQ? There are hundreds of governments killing their own people, why not invade them too? Is it the oil? or is it that the united states are owned by investors of other countries? Whats your thougth on BUSH who released the benladen family while all flights were grounded and who didnt get interviewed by the CIA?

As am I, however, how do you feel about legal immigration?
would you want to increase the immigration rate and make it a tad bit (not a whole lot!) easier for people (not criminals) to get into the country?

also how does immigration rate on your "list" of issues this country is going through right now? just curious.

Maybe the issue of what we do is simplified by the reality that we are not doing well with the War of Terror. We have given up on the orginal goals stated by Bush, democracy and all that, and we are hoping that Iraqi will settle down long enough for us to escape.
The evidence that we are not doing well is in the facts-on-the-ground. So, we need to find a better way out of Iraq and do Afganistan right. Can we agree on that?

I don't get this whole passing of leadership thing. I moved here 8 years ago fromt he US and I have been reading about how supposedly gordan brown is going to take over (YUCK) when tony blair steps down. So if the government is supposed to be created by the people then why is it that a majority of the palament members pay their way in and are not voted in? and how can it be called a government if tony blair is handing the leadership over to someone he chooses or whatever, Isn't that turning communist?

I just heard that the miami news has reporters paid by the united states gov to write propaganda. I wander if they wanted to encourage illegals to come over for cheap labor. Seriously, with the articles I read in the fort worth star telegram and any newspaper in AZ, or chicago, I find they are biased and pro-illegal. Where can I get a good newspaper where the feds are not trying to brain wash us?

Has anyone else noticed this? If a white guy starts speaking out against racism people start screaming at him that's he personally is the racist one, and if he doesn't he's stereotyped as racist.
