why not abolish our system of electing government and let the people elect individuals in society who have proven skills in certain fields, ie top legal experts/business experts, names should be taken from the public as nominations, we can then get rid of all the parties, and they should not be paid high salaries they can also be sacked easier, do we need any government constantly at war within, come on uk get modernised

Let me start off by saying that I am not a Bush hater. I think Bush was a GREAT president up until 2003 (The start of the Iraq war). He then led us into a war on "intelligence" that said Saddam had WMD's. Well, we haven't found any WMD's, so I think the public should demand to know where the failure in intelligence occured so this doesnt happen again. I think the original plan was to remove Saddam and the WMD's, then pull out and have the UN inspectors monitor the country to make sure no more are built within Iraq's borders. But since Bush alienated most of the UN countries with the US-British bilateral invasion (along with a couple of small countries), he has given the UN an excuse not to enter the "occupied" country. I think we SHOULD have invaded Iraq, but under much better circumstances. Let me know what you think.

ABC is being blamed for distributing propaganda to secretly assist the current and former Bush administrations' involvement or attempts to destroy peaceful resolutions to the Mid East's Zionist/Palestinian conflict. By listing Hebrew, Israeli or Jewish surnames attached to, or in any way involved in the ABC mini series project it may be easy to dispel suspicions raised by some in the public mainstream.

Economic growth at all costs? Just one example that I'm concerned about: Due to our economic relationship with China, we may be giving them the wealth and technology to surpass the United States as the leading economy, not to mention to grow and modernize their military. (They are still a communist country)

I hate abortion and think it is wrong, but I am against government making it a legal issue. I believe it is a moral issue.
I believe in freedom of religion or your right to be an Atheist
I believe in freedom of speech, even if I hate what you say, but I also believe I have the right to tell you that,
I believe the ACLU is a socialist party
I want the Government to increase spending on
education, health care, and reduce health care costs.
I think there should be a cap on lawsuits
I believe in the right to bear arms for the private citizen
I believe that the government screwed up Katrina relief, both the Mayor, the Governer, and the President.
I believe the economy is fine but that the oil companies are fleecing the public, and the government should be looking into it closer,
I'm pissed the average working American can't afford health insurance but welfare recipients get it free
I believe in the war on terror but I think it could be fought better

ABC is planning a docudrama on the lead-up to 9/11. Do you think former officials of the Clinton administration are complaining because there are untruths or because the truth is not very flattering?

Are the facts that virtually nothing was done during the 90's about the attacks that were carried out against America contributed to the idea that we would do nothing?

the chancellor uses to callculate it? It doesn't include rent, council tax or household water/fuel bills (which have soared to extortionate levels). It lists life's essentials as including cost of champage, leg waxes, mp3 players, plasma tv screens etc.

Is the chancellor having a laugh? Do'es he think we all live like socialites? They're not essentials to living, they're optional luxuries.

Talk about cooking the books, and fiddling the figures (nothing new to the lab party). And this man wants to be pm!

I think it should include the costs of the tax, rent, water and fuel; urgently so, to reflect the poor and pensioners true income. What do you reckon?
