He has to be impeached (that is charged) by the House then tried and convicted by the Senate to be removed from office. Its an arduous task and has only been used against a president twice. Both times resulted in no conviction.

Fired? No. The American people had that chance in '04 but blew it. Congress could impeach him but since they are the same party, it will never happen...they are stuck way up his buttocks. The best we can hope for is that either the House of Reps. or the Senate will end up with a Dem majority this fall and that will limit the harm he can do during the remainder of his term.

The president can be impeached by congress, which is esentially putting the president on trial.

Considering that the formation of the current congress is aligned to the president's political party, it is highly unlikely that it will happen.

He can be 'sacked'. But the only ones who can impeach him are part of the machine which puts its own money and power before reason, morals and ethics.

He can be Impeached or resign. Nixon resigned in 1974, Pardoned by his replacement for all and any crimes, but I believe he was the only President to do so.

His term limit will be up in 2008.

A big majority in the Chambers can force a process of Impeachment. Don't worry, American democracy is compensated.

Impeachment is possible but a crime must be proved. Shoot, we couldn't even convict OJ, so getting the Pres of the US would be tough! It also takes a while, and it's pointless now because he is approaching the end of his term.
