As a Chartered Accountant, you would probably be accepted easily in Canada if you applied under the Skilled Worker class immigration category (see link below for application). This is because you would be considered a highly skilled worker and there is a shortage of professionals in the medical, financial, and many other fields. Further, it is relatively easier for Indians to acclimatize to the country because of such a large population of Indians already living everywhere across the country, especially in the larger centres. Not everything would be easy though: the immigration process can take a few years to complete (because the immigration department has a backlog of applications) and you may have to take some classes to upgrade your accountant skills for Canadian requirements before you are recognized as a Chartered Accountant in Canada. There is a new government initiative to recognize foreign credentials more directly, but it just started. Finally, although the people are nice and the living standard high, the winters outside of British Columbia are cold compared to India :-)
