Very little. The Executive branch is but one of three branches codependent upon one another. While each enjoys specific duties and authority there (supposedly) is oversight by the two remaining bodies (legislative and judicial) to insure that the constitution is preserved and the laws are obeyed. A one-day lame duck President would not have enough authority to get anything accomplished, and most decisions made would require several days to initiate, simply due to logistics. The President can, of course, pardon convicted criminals,initiate foreign policy and deploy forces on a limited basis without congressional oversight, and declassifiy classified materials. The only real power I would wield seems to be to initiate a military operation that would only require one day start to finish. So, I would probably pardon a few deserving people, reveal to the public all of the illegal clandestine activites being undertaken by the CIA and NSA, and launch surgical airstrikes against N. Korea, and Iran to destroy their nuclear capabilities.

Reduce my salary and live in a way that my family and i don´t have to spend so much money in things unecesary's for the time.. and help people who really need it.

I would get the approx. area of Bin Laden, and nuke him. I am sure he is hiding somewhere away from people, so it should not hurt anyone but the bad guys. Vote for me.
