You, like many others, are confused between Race and Religion. There are many non-Religious Jews in Israel and some Christiann Jews also. There is freedom of Religion in Israel.

Well, true democracy would mean that there are no representatives (that's a republic), but everyone votes on every issue. So Israel is not the only true democracy. There is no such thing, as far as I know, at the national level.

I do not know the laws of Israel, but it is my impression that they allow non-Jews to become citizens. I can't say they have the same freedom of religion as the US, where we have the First Amendment, but such a thing would not necessarily be part of a "true democracy," as it would be voted on by the citizens. If the majority said "kick out everyone who is not Jewish," then a true democracy would do exactly that.

Democracy is a tyranny of the majority.

what's your point. So you think freedom of religion is important. Are you saying it is essential? and if so, that is your viewpoint, for which you offer no supporting argument, and expect everyone to implicitly accept your definition. And if it is about democracy and freedom of religion, why use Israel as the example? Why not use the US? have you illustrated there is no freedom of religion there? in relative terms, is there less than there is here?(US). you don't even say there isn't any. Just innuendo.
