We have been developing now as different tribes for the past 2000 years or more. The only way for the human race to move foward sustainably, and without killing each other over religon, land, money, oil etc, and without polluting the planet we otherwise would not be alive on is to put aside our different idealologies and live as one human race.
Think about the basic principles, the constitution, and the structure.
So, can it happen? What are the obstacles? I plan to start a wiki with the best answer(s), to continue development.
Have fun with this one ,then go answer more questions.

We have the abbility and technology to be self sufficinet in our society but we are not, do people think this is a dodgy situation for the future?
We could provide all our own energy, food and products for everyday life, but the government and ourselves are reliant on other countrys for food and energy. Is this a danger to our survival and futures.

Country ‘A’ makes weapons and sell the same to country ‘B’ or troops of country ‘C’ are sent to the battle field , to kill the troops of country ‘D’, ( They all believe and glorify God Almighty.) Is it not hypocrisy of the highest standard? How can anyone justify the killings of innocents who are caught in this game ?

I was thinking about what the world would be like if there weren't criminals...
You wouldn't need police, locks, security systems, etc, and all the numberless careers that go into crime fighting and prevention. But, what would those people be able to do for work? Would there be sufficient jobs in other careers to compensate?

"there was no 'bill of lading'or identifiers of the source of the material." he said.

Although I suggested several possibilities for tracking down the proper owners: "Reversed address number", "tenth ave instead of tenth street", "canvassing neighbors", etc. he seemed to be of the opinion that whoever delivered should come get the stack if they really want it.

within a few days the stack was no longer in the driveway.

Now, three weeks later, I've learned that the sate police have given him three days to identify the party he claims to have "given" the stack to, and also learned that the stack rightly belongs to another close neighbor.

Now I feel complicit in that I "DID NOTHING!" with the knowledge I had of the situation. I could have at least strongly encouraged him to make an honest effort to find the owner.

What would you have done in this situation?

In my opinion, the post-cold war world of the mid-to-late 1990s promised much in the way of creating a global, liberal, democratic consensus: left-leaning leaders in the White House and Downing Street, impending monetary union in most of the EU, increasing talk of free trade and debt relief, as well as a willingness to deal with human impact on the environment. However, it seems that the political mainstream has been highjacked by neo-conservative, corporate Christian fundamentalists, epitomised by Bush and Blair, whilst the increase in religious fundamentalism and terrorism has blunted the leftist-principles of the Democrats and New Labour such that they let the neo-cons ride all over them. This has resulted in electorates dominated by fear, increasing power for large multi-national corporations, the mess of Iraq, the ignorance of genocides in Africa and the destruction of the Middle East peace process. Can we still create the post-war dream of liberal, secular, global government?

Since so many seem to know better than Bush, what is your idea. Like libturd leadership whos plan is...well nothing except to criticize Bush. Like that makes anyone safer. Im so sick of hearing Turbin, dirty harry and Shoomaker( thats Durbin , reid Schumer) complain and say they know better yet never say what they propose. I think most Americans have open mind son this issue. Ummm, I know I am not looking to get blown up on a bus anythime soon so I dont care who foils the terrorist plot. So since you liberals have a PLAN ( cough cough)..Im curious something more than Iraq was the wrong war and the wrong time...Thats not a plan
