What is EU countires is a pathetic question, mainly because, in four words, you have made one grammatical and one spelling mistake (I assume). Presumably you mean what are the countries that make up the EU, in which case, by the time you had posted the question, Google would have given you the answer.
The true answer to the corrected question is, it is an association that was formed to enable free trade throughout the member countries that has become an irreversible stampede towards federalism that no one wants. It is also a licence for mass migration by the disadvantaged in the East to the West.
The main destination for these economic migrants is the most successful and powerful nation in Europe, the third most powerful nation on Earth. We have a death wish.

"EU" means European Union. This union is made up of some nation like France, Italy, Germany etc, within Europe, and they have an understanding among them to co-operate economically and in some other ways, and they also have a court that police and enforce this understading, eventhough they say that it is on advisory basis, but the actions taken by this court affects the member states, especially their legal stystems, in the way they interprete their local laws, since they are espected by the treaty to enterprete their local laws to comply with the provisions as laid down by the convention.
I am not from Europe.

The European Union (EU) is a commonwealth of countries in, surprise, Europe. While there is a central administrative body, its function is primarily advisory and policy making.
There are currently 25 countries that are members, with more pending.
