This will do a lot to make our world a safer place. You should run for president of the U.S.

Probably yes. The media is nothing more than a ratings game and ratings equal money, big money. If there is no news the media will pound on something that would normally not even make it on National TV. It's really sad how the media can and does control our lives to the extent they do. They can decide what you should think and how you should think. In this busy, cell phone world we live in, some don't have time to stop and think about something coming from the bright screen and just take it for truth. Every news story we hear is biased in one way or another. If the terrorist got no media coverage, what would be the point?

Unfortunately our FREEDOM prevents us from doing it. Remember, we are the guys in the white hats and we must behave as such even if it means losing the war to the Muslims. The way we are fighting and with all the leftists and stupid high school and college kids not behind Bush and with the US press giving away sorrowful and incorrect stories we may just lose this war on the Jihadists. Remember each time a Jihadist gets killed he goes straight to heaven and gers 72 virgins to keep him happy. The Koran says so in no uncertain terms. Americans generally don't have such a swift deal. We fight for freedom and the right to chose any religion we want. Whose side is the leftist newspapers on anyway??

No. More likely, such actions would have the effect of improving recruitment among terrorist groups. Remember that very few operatives are recruited from western countries, so banning their propoganda would have little effect.

Who is "we"? Even if the USA government tried to ban media coverage here--and I don't think such a ban would stand--who is the "we" than bans coverage from all of western media?

first of all, i dont think al jazeera is a terrorist channel. if youd tell al manar (hezbollah) , maybe yes and to get it off the air could help curb the terror in ME and the whole world probably, but israel failed to do it in the month-long war in lebanon, and hezbollah brags about that.....

I have a video in my possession the position Obama is speaking about Muslims, and then he says "i know as i'm one of them". possibly that tells you which of them part he's on. shop in ideas, he and Michelle were in no way proud to be individuals (till he grew to develop into president) as he says in his own e book.

Just because you close your eyes to terrorism won't make it go away.
