Yes it's already started or at least the chain of events leading up to it has already started.
it's ironic that after the 1st WW being an rival monarchy based war and the 2nd WW being caused by rival political philosophies.
That the 3rd WW and probably the proverbial big one, should be caused by that old chestnut religion.

Unfortunately, WW III has started. History will prove that the beginnings of WW III started when the Cold War ended. Yet, more specifically, the earmark event will prove to be when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait...
It will end when everyone is speaking Chinese!
