well we cant eliminate them, they have a right to be here. minimizing sounds good but without a wall to keep them out, that will just never happen. i dont mind if they all stay, so long as they go through the mandatory steps to become legal. they should be paying all the required taxes, just like legal citizens do. there should also be a requirement that every last one of them needs to learn at least the minimum amount of english. i think they should be allowed to stay, as long as they go through the process. maybe there should be a time frame in which they have to start the process, say 2 years. once that 2 years is up, and they are caught here, even walking down the street illegally and unable to speak a word of english, deport them. those are the ones that dont have a right to be here. they have to be willing to live by america's laws and standards, and if they cant do that, they need to go back to where they came from, with force if necessary. just my opinion :o)

I will be for elimination of illegals if we give Mexico back all the territories we stole from them. This would include California, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico... you get the picture.
Before we go putting up walls between us and Mexico, address the apparent racism by targeting the southern border while illegals from a variety of nations come across the northern border.
Many of the so-called illegals pay taxes..the government issues them a number to pay taxes under... without all the privileges of other taxpayers. (ask at any tax office)
Create a way they can become legally in this country. They are already contributing to the society, let them have the same privileges other citizens enjoy.

There is no way to eliminate illegals. However, there has to be a way to help illegals get some kind of legal worker status. Sending illegals back does not make since. Making it easier and less expensive for people to at least legal worker status is the only way to go.

There will never be a total elimination. It will minimize through a win-win decision at Congress. And that will only be a reality when the priorities are in order: secure the borders.

There is no way to eliminate illegal immigrants, but you can minimize the amount that come into our country every year. Make it harder for them to come over the borders, which is currnetly happening. Also come up with a way to encourage them to get their citizenship. I think a lot of them take it for granted that this is a free country. We all work hard to be here and do things right, they should not get away with as much as they do.

People in Mexico come to the U.S. ...... because they work for about $60-80 U.S.(week) in Mexico they only work for food their. If we want to help fix the problem we have to fix Mexico. Their president worked for coca cola their former president is a CEO of P&G. You get the picture... Their govt. is corrupt. We go around the world to help other govt. but not Mexico? Why do we buy so much stuff from china don't you know they are communist? Mexicans love Mexico. Would you do something illegal if you were hungry?

Leave them alone, anything that is illegal can be made legal with the touch of a pen and paper.

You should know that your country's economy is HIGHLY supported by inmigrants, as a matter of fact, the united sates of America has ALWAYS been a country of inmigrants. I live in Mexico and I think it's time for the two of us to accept we're interdependent.
