Let's see, tax free at about 60 hours a week claiming no income collecting freebies, Times their spouse at whatever an hour living in HUD with free lunch program plus food stamps...hhhmmmm, sounds better than blue collar life style to me. And to think the blue collars are financing this with the tax monies removed from their paycheck. Now I see why they drive SUV's with those immature impracticle wheels and tires. Nice sound system if only it didn't blast polka music all day!

Me and my husband own a roofing and a remodeling company. We are fighting so hard to stay afloat, because of these Illegal Mexicans..Where I'm from to be able to pay a crew of 5 or 6 people a job we need to make at least $3000 off of one job,this encludes insurance tax's and pay roll.. These Illegal mexicans will bid a job so low that no one else can compete with their prices.They will do a 50 square house for $800 or so and have 10 more mexicans help do the job, they will finish a roof in 8 hours but it only takes on storm to make it leak, they dont care about the job and their craftsmanship..We have had so many calls about repair jobs that the mexicans have messed up and everytime the builder calls to have us repair it hubby always says thats what you get, you should of hired someone that was insured and gave you a warranty...I alway tell these customers that they should of hired professionials and they would of got a profession job done to their roof...Its not about getting the job done quick its about a quality..A new roof should last for years depending on the weather and the illegal mexicans can guarante you a new roof with in a year...And i can only imagine how bad their craftmanship is on dry wall and bricks..and another thing the construction workers here have to worry about is if a van of illegal mexicans are going to show up on one of your jobs and try to run you off with bats and sticks,,it happens all the time here..so most constrution workers have to carry guns...so yes they are making a hell of a living...tax free money..

they work for peanuts...
a boilermaker will work for no less than 25/hr but an immigrant or overseas hired labour would work for 6/hr.
i also know someone who's brother has hired production workers for two meals a day and an old broken down caravan to live in. When they get sick or cant fend for themselves, he kicks them out and gets a new bunch in.
pls dont talk about illegal immigrants living it up.

Umm well they get paid under the table which means no taxes. I know that they get paid at least 10-12 easily.

No not according to studies. But those who hire usually don't give benefits of any sort. They save plenty. And those who work for themselves do not on the whole purchase insurance or can not get certain things that we must have-so there is a savings there. Add those who sneak or take certain benefits in-it is a cost to us.

such ignorance of the problem. illegals usually earn far less than what the employer would have to pay a us citizen. don't think they get a great deal, they live in fear 24/7 and many are taken advantage of due to that fear. they can't reporty much of the abuses because they may wind up getting caught and sent back to their own country. the best way to stop illegal immigration is to make them want to stay home by ensuring they get a livable wage there.
