Until the political parties are ELIMINATED Republicans & Democrats will NEVER be TOGETHER on ANYTHING!!! Both parties have skewed SOOOOO far from the intended goals that like religion, they ARE NOT what was invisioned. If the Republicans said it was raining, the Democrats would argue that it was NOT rain. If the Democrats stopped whining ABOUT EVERYTHING!!! we would all drop dead!!!!
You can only sit on a fence for so long before someone comes along & gives you a shove. You have to STAND UP FOR "YOUR" beliefs & NOT follow blindly behind a label!!!!! The ONLY way to get the parties to work together is to have "PEOPLE" in the senate, congress, oval office, etc. NOT parties!!!!!!! That way the "PEOPLE" are working for EVERYONE & NOT just who supports them!!!!
The thing is with ALL of the whining the Democrats are doing about our troops, the reinlistment rates are SKY HIGH!!!! Because our troops believe in who is leading them. I cannot begin to tell you how many service men I have heard say that they would be in serious trouble & so would this country if 9/11 had happened on Clinton's watch or if Gore or Kerry had been in office. But, they DO agree that 9/11 would NEVER have happened if Clinton HAD DONE HIS JOB & KEPT IT IN HIS PANTS!!!!!

Yea we are all in the same boat, but the people in charge of the boat don't give a F about us. It's kind of like being on the Titanic, you have some politicians who work the boat, then you have the high class who can afford the suites, and finally you have the rest of us who they wouldn't give a F* if we were on fire as long as no smoke interferes with their fine cigars. We are in the same shape as Rome was. We are supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, yet the people who we elect don't give a damned about us as long as they have their sweet lifestyle.

Nope not with you on those theories and I use the theory term loosely.
I am the captain of my own ship and destiny, you let someone else steer yours. Big difference. The only winners will be the ones that chose the smart captain. they will get to their destination safely. The others, well sharks gotta eat!!

That's the nature of politics. Everyone's in it for themselves...not for the good of the country.....both sides are like that.
