What has caused the lack of civility in todays political discourse?
It is not just the Yahoo yahoos it is the politicians as well.
Is this an indication of moral decline and values in the country?
Is the lack of personal responsibility and anonymity contributing to this?

On CBS.com the editorial editor wrote a piece and called the President a liar. Not only did he show disrespect but he failed to mention anything other than his opinion to support his position.

Has the irrational hatred for the President made this lack of civility worse?

If you had to say what you say in anonymity here, in public with your name, address and phone number attached, would you show more civility in your answers?

Lots of questions, let's see if there are some answers that are civil and reasoned, or will it just be another round of screamin dean invectives.

Because I think that wrong. My family shouldnt have to go back to mexico and neither any other family. If you were an immigrant and you were told that you have to leave would you like that? espeacialy if you were born here and that place was your home town would you want to leave? I wouldnt. All we did was come here. to live in and to get a job and rasie a family. other people came here to live too. why do they stay? We said the pledge of allegance at school everday ever since I was in kindergarden. And i still do and im 14. Have you seen the news when there was walkouts? That one big one? and the kids in high school walked out themselfs too. If you put all those people together including the thousands of mexicans that didnt go. there would be as much people here in America. (and I dont really know much about this and papers because my parents dont want me worried)

When I grew up, Beijing was known as Peking. I realize other countries and the Peoples Republic of China itself may have recognized the name change long ago. But, when did the US begin referring to the former Peking as Beijing?

SHOULD CBS HAVE CANCELLED
THE RONALD REAGAN MOVIE?

The right-wingers had a fit ...
CBS airing a movie about Reagan
not made by Reagan lovers.
CBS cancelled it.

an extraordinary conservative furor over a movie virtually no one has seen ... CBS pulls Reagan miniseries

Sources close to the production said Monday CBS is considering canceling the docudrama, slated to air Nov. 16 and 18, under mounting criticism from political conservatives that the two-part series unfairly depicts Reagan and his wife

Capping an extraordinary conservative furor over a movie virtually no one has seen, CBS said Tuesday it will not air "The Reagans"

CBS is being accused of caving to political pressure, in deciding not to air a two-part movie about Ronald and Nancy Reagan.

How come the Republicans cried about the
Reagan Movie and CBS caved in to not show it?

It was filled with the TRUTH about Saint Ronnie
and the Repugs went into a frenzy about it being shown...
WHY?

All we see are people coming saying better life, then they send almost all their money back to Mexico because all the jobs are low pay. Who actually pick's Mexico's fruit since all their fruit pickers are here. Who mows all those lawns there since all the landscape crews are here. Just what are the people doing to better Mexico besides compaining of better life all the time does Mexico have anything else going for it?
