Although not a bad idea it would affect the economy negatively for a prolonged amount of time. Not to mention the current administration would turn a blind eye to the reason it was occurring. There would have to be massive cooperation from so many parts of the country that I don't see it as feasible. The illegal situation will not improve until we abolish social services for able bodied Americans. These people already receive free health care, free daycare, free job training and they still sit on their butts and watch Jerry Springer. Welfare folks need to go to work. That means probably making the same amount you do sitting at home but at least you can answer the question "what do you do for a living?" with pride.

I just can't beleive that we have been sitting back and taking it for so long, I can see grorgie boy now, sitting back laughing, calling us a bunch of lazy stupid idiots. I attended a few demonstrations this year and over the past 5 and am sad to say attendence was light and no age group was dominant... It discouraged me in a way.. I just somthing happens soon. I am not in a position to become the next Ruben..

Dude, you have issues. Get a therapist.
In any case, that would throw the entire country into complete and utter chaos, and would take many long and hard months, years even, before we got anywhere with the country. Then we will have to rebuild the entire country from scratch from the results of this nation-wide boycott.

A more effective solution is a political shout out -- called the mid-term elections. Elect a new Congress. That'll send a message.

What would happen if you learned how to spell. What would happen if you came back to reality and really put some thought and insight in what you are proposing. Blah, Blah Blah. Think about it. You are talking out your Butt. Educate yourself; then maybe you can come up with a reasonable solution.

If that happened, we would cease to exist as a nation (and deservedly so). You, buster would be as negatively affected as all citizens. Talk about anger! You would be willing to ruin yourself and all your fellow countrymen just to prove a point?
