CBS is being accused of caving to political pressure, in deciding not to air a two-part movie about Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
How come the Republicans cried about the
Reagan Movie and CBS caved in to not show it?
It was filled with the TRUTH about Saint Ronnie
and the Repugs went into a frenzy about it being shown...
WHY?

They didn't like it because it showed how Ronnie Raygun really was...an uncaring clod who consulted with astrologers to make his big decisions. He said terrible things about people suffering with AIDS he single handed created the problem of homelessness that was pervasive in the 1980's...and above all he was a Hollywood actor married to an equally insensitive Hollywood diva. The movie also showed the fact that Raygun was a puppet with some really strange ideas of government.

You seem to only remember half of it. The conservatives did their best to keep it form being aired on CBS while the liberals were screaming "censorship!" Now I predict the liberals will do their best to keep it from airing while the conservatives cry "censorship."
What a bunch of hypocrites on BOTH sides!
If the conservatives cry "foul" when this movie gets bumped from ABC to cable, then they will be hypocrits, too.
I have no problem with the liberals expressing their opinion through a petition. I only have a problem with the hypocrisy. When the conservatives did the same type of thing for the "Reagan" movie, the liberals were screaming "censorship!"

The Path to 9-11 was written based on a distorted truth, funded by evangelicals, produced and directed by many who questioned the contents,, therefore the efforts to stop the attempt to rewrite history ensued,, some of the actors say they were not aware that the docudrama was a farce,,,,

They don't like it when the truth comes out.
And now they are all gun-ho about the ABC series coming out about 911... ABC has stated that it is FICTION whereas the Reagan movie was based on fact.
Just another Republican double standard.

Because it contained a segment in which Reagan says something like 'let all the Africans die of AIDS'. Something silly like that.
Reagan was the first President to take serious action against AIDS, distributing information to the public on how to avoid catching it and funding efforts to fight it.
So, that was one serious mischaracterization that annoyed Republicans.

Because Ronald Reagan was not only the greatest president but the greatest human being in our life time. He was dying at the time it aired & the timing was distastful.
