he isa bit smaller than a 5o cent piece w/ yellow knobs going down his back and 6 small yellow spots on his sides. he was found in the yard about a week ago and brought in so he wouldn't freeze. I need to know what kind he is so i know how to care for him. we think he may be some kind of mud turtle but i can't find any pics on the internet that look like him. We do have a small creek way down at the bottom of the hill but he is very small and was found in the yard.

My husband and I are researching bearded dragons as a pet and it seems very obvious that crickets are very important in their diet. However, I am not too keen on the idea of keeping live crickets in the house due to their noise and chances of escaping from their container. My question therefor is would it be possible to feed dried crickets and worms that can be gotten from a pet store to a dragon and providing it with a good variety of greens or would that lead to constipation or impactation?

Would a baby southern painted be OK in a 75 gal. tank or is the water to deep? The tank would be almost completely full and there is a short ramp to the basking area which is outside the tank. I used this setup for my map turtle and it worked fine but i'm not quite sure if this would work for a baby painted.

For once not a fish question........Well, a few years ago my brother got an African Spur, and we were told he would only get as big as the cage you put him in. He was reallllllly tiny so we dint think he would grow but so big, and now he's HUGE O_O... My brother gave him to me because it was such a huge responsibility, but now hes gotten so big that he needs to be put in a yard. We have the biggest cage available around here and now he's too big for it. Its hard to clean out his cage, and he's getting really dirty because of how small it is. Its starting to become really expensive and I cant afford to keep him any more. We cant put him in the yard because its too cold. Does anyone know if theres anyone who would take him/her? because im really picky about giving him away since no one around here is really good with animals........

My corn snake was born in April and I bought him when he was about 3 moths old. When I got him he was 9 inches and he hasn't grown since. The picture below I took about five minutes ago and he is 8 months now I was wondering if he looked the normal length for his age? And I would like to know what you call his color/pattern or whatever you call it
