I have a baby Beardie and he does that all the time. Also, the beardies at Petco and Petsmart all do that too, so I think it's perfectly normal for them to lean on the glass. Depends though, how big is he in inches?

They all do the glass dancing. He might want out to explore or he might just be saying "Hello!"

i dont think that means that it wants to get out, you can clearly see when its too big for the tank im sure you wouldnt keep it in a tank too small they need a little space but not a hell of alot. I think its fine though :)
