Beared dragons do like to have companey but you cant keep males together so you ould have to buy a female but in doing that be prepared to have babys about and you will need to buy a incubator and have everything to help raise some 15+ babys and then sell them. If your giving him loads off attension he will be fine on his own.

NEITHER!!!

Get another male and they will likely fight to the death.

Get a female and her will "overbreed" her. Mating with her constantly, not letting her bask or eat or anything, causing significant health problems.

Most reptiles are solitary creatures.
The only "friend" he needs is YOU! :)

Bearded Dragons prefer to live alone. You are all the company he needs.

They enjoy having their own space, and since they LOVE to sit & bask, the basking spot should only belong to one.

So, he only needs one best friend, and that should be the owner [you]

:)

Beardies are not social at all, and may hurt or even kill each other. Keep it separate. They are not humans:)
