My corn snake was born in April and I bought him when he was about 3 moths old. When I got him he was 9 inches and he hasn't grown since. The picture below I took about five minutes ago and he is 8 months now I was wondering if he looked the normal length for his age? And I would like to know what you call his color/pattern or whatever you call it

Maybe it's the angle of the shot, but he sure doesn't look like a corn snake.. He looks more like some kind of sand boa.. Can you get any clearer photos of him? The body and coloring looks all wrong to be a corn snake..
He probably has grown somewhat.. I would recommend you get a scale that measures in grams to make it easier to tell if he's gaining or losing weight..
They do take about 3-4 years to mature though, so if he's eating regularly and not regurging he's probably fine.. Though, you may want to bring a fecal sample into the vet in case he got worms from a mouse or something.. If you're not already feeding frozen/thawed mice you may want to consider it for that reason..
I'm pretty sure it's a Kenyan sand boa..

Corns snakes are a lot thinner, almost garter snake like as babies.. That guy you have there has the typical 'gummy worm' shape I tend to associate with sand boas..
In that case, they hatch out at about 8 inches with males only attaining about a foot when full grown and females possibly achieving 2 feet of length..

Yes, that is a Kenyan sand boa. They are not even closely related to corn snakes. Males get up to around 18 inches, and females can grow to a little over 2 feet long. But they make great pets too.

That snake is a sand boa, not a corn snake. They only get to be about 24 inches long total. Who told you it was a cornsnake? You need to do some research so that you can at least identify and properly care for the species you have!

If it is a 30 gallon LONG tank (not fish tank) then it's probably fine. As long as it's got a lot of floor area. That's what really counts. Don't get a 30 gallon "fish tank" because these are pretty high and height does nothing for a corn snake.

i have never seen a corn snake like that !!!!!! I think your corn snake is fine there wont be a significant noticable difference in size within just eight months.
