My bearded dragon recently dug a cave under a rock in her tank and spends most of her time there. Is this due to the temerature drop so shes in a hibernation like state. she does eat occasionally.

My baby Uro has a strange build up of what appears to be skin all around her mouth. It makes look kinda weird, and she's always wiping her mouth on her wood, and her tank walls. I was wondering if anyone knows what this could be, or how to get rid of it.
Thanks

he loves to burrow, and i bought a fuzzy and dropped him in the cage. should i make the snake come out of his burrow, or should i just let him come when he wants. i would rather not leave the mouse in the cage for too long, but i refuse to stress out my snake. this is the first time im feeding him. what did you guys do when you first fed yours?

Do leopard geckos need to go to the vet for checkups? (It's not a problem, I'd just like to know.) Also, about how much does it cost to have a reptile examined?

bearded dragon poo is usually one line of brown/bloack poo, and a line of white poo. however, when i got up this morning i found slushy brown poo, and slushy pink poo instead of white poo.

My iguana, that i love so much, eats meat. he loves frozen baby mice... is that weird?
well, earlier today, he saw a small toy mouse for my cat. its a fake stuffed mouse thats a little bigger than the frozen mice i feed to him.
he ate it!
is he gonna be okay?

I was wondering if someone could tell me what their iguanas like to eat for treats and what they enjoy?

Ive had a baby green iguana for about a week, and I see no signs of defecations. Hes eating and I put him in his water bowl sometimes as that is where they tend to defecate, but I dont see any. How often are they supposed to?

We had her out for a while today (her longest time so far) and when we put her back, her legs were shaking. Could it be she's cold? She's about six months old, and seems fine otherwise. She gets plenty of calcium, so I don't think that's the issue. She seems alert and is able to move around fine. She's been eating well. Any ideas? I'm worried!

I have a Red Eared Slider that is 3yrs old. I have a few questions concerning the him....
How big do they get?
What is their life span?
How many gallons of water will they need by the time they`re fully grown?
What is the best thing to feed them?
Are there any things in particular that I should have in their tank?
How much should I feed them?
Am I allowed to take them onto the yard?
If so, for how long?
Can they recognize faces?
How smart are they?
Can they hear remember what I say?
Is it at all possible to voice/clicker train them? :)
Do they need companionship, turtle, human, ect.?
Any health problems to look out for?
DO THEY SHED??!!
How fast are they?
Are they fast enough to catch minnows that I put in their tank as feeder fish?
Is it bad to paint their shells?
Is there anything they shouldn`t eat?
Any special things they need?
Should I put gravel in their tank?
I have had my turtle for a while and I want to know if I`ve been doing things right. I haven`t painted his shell though!

All my beardie has ever eaten is crickets. He (or she) goes through about 6 dozen a week. The beardie is about 3 months old and still refuses to eat any veggies. I do not want to starve him so I always keep crickets in there. Do I need to start leaving them out and make him eat veggies? Thanks

How can I tell if he is dead? His shell is very soft, but he's all tucked inside his shell and doesn't go in the water, doesn't eat, and doesnt smell. He won't even move when I touch his feet or anything! My mom says he is too small (his shell is about an inch long, give or take alittle) for the vet to be able to do anything? Is she right, or should I find a vet? Also, where could I find a vet that will deal with turtles when I live in Nixa, MO, and don't want to drive out of state?

My bearded dragon is almost 3 months old. I have had him for 2 months. Things have been going really well. He has grown a lot, he eats a LOT. All of his needs are taken care of. My husband and I adore him. We talk to him and hold him daily. But he suddenly seems very resistant to us. The first month we had him, he was very tiny but loved to be held, he would sleep on my finger. But now, as he has gotten larger and older he freaks out whenever we even put our hand in his cage. He tries to jump off out hand and will run around in circles in his cage, freaking out. For like the first week I thought maybe he was shedding or he was just uncomfortable or something. But after a month he seems to be getting worse? What could this be? Could something be wrong? IS it just a phase? Could we just have a dragon that doesn't like to be held? I have heard so much about these guys that say they loved to be held, and pet, he just doesn't
t seem to like to be touched. What is going on??
