Most likely the snake wil refuse to eat.
Id wait to feed it till its done shedding

How did you get to be a top contributor ?
By giving out completely silly answers like this?
Did you know that even if the snake DID take the food you offer it, that its digestive sytem slows down to the point where it wont digest the food? Itll just lay there inside it.
Ive seen snakes die because their owners fed them before or during a shed and the foot rotted in their stomach.
If you do own a snake........ do it a big favor and dont feed it when its shedding.

Most snakes won't eat while they're shedding. If it is not live food you can try to feed it. If you feed your boa live then wait for it to shed so it doesn't get hurt.

I have nine snakes some will eat during shed some will not I have had them for many years and the ones that eat during a shed have always been fine and digested there food normal. I would not do it with live food if u are feeding live.

Definitely wait until after the shedding. I try not to mess with any of my snakes during their shedding time. You have to remember that during this time their eyesight is worse than what it normally is.

I always feed mine on their feeding day whether they are shedding or not. They haven't turned down a meal yet. Some snakes will eat, others won't.

always wait for your snakes to shed fully before you feed them, they will refuse most of the time to eat if they are in mid shed....also make sure his eye caps have also cleared and fallen off before you feed.....

happy slithering ;)

Wait- he probably won't eat, and if he eats live food, he won't be able to see it to keep it from biting him.
