here are you Questions. Answered by me.

1) Are corn snakes easy to look after?
Yes indeed, but this does not mean you can just put them in a tank and leave them.

2) Are they easier to look after than hamsters? (do you need spend less time, clean out less ect)
Very much easier, and less smelling. and are very pretty snakes. only need to clean out the poop each week in there cage not the whole thing. you should clean out a corn snakes tank each month with a reptile safe cleaner and new fresh aspen bedding.

3) Do they bite?
yes,i cant say they will never bit. remember anything with teeth can bite. corn snakes are one of the most easiest snakes to handle and are very sweet. they are not mean snakes at all and love to be held. i can tell you that it is rare to have a corn snake bite you.

4) How much do pinky mice and frozen mice cost?i breed my own. but i do not believe you should breed your own unless you have many snakes. mice smell. you better off buying frozen mice. around $1.59 each is the highest i seen. you can do online shopping for mice at http://www.rodentpro.com/index.asp

5) when do you know to stop using pinky mice and switch to adult mice for feeding?

its really on the size of you snake. you snake should stay on pinkies . for a newborn stay on pinkies for about 5 weeks or more. from then on. you can go to 2 pinkies. till about the size of your snake is a little more then a foot long he can move to small fuzzies.

Because snakes are not hamsters they are reptiles. Two different spieces.

Yes easier to take care of in my opinion ,then a hamster.

For the most part they do not bite. I have had mine bite me, no big deal. If your squeamish about the biting part, it can happen. Maybe you should not get one.

The average cost of feeding a snake yearly is about $50- 65 dollars. I bred my own feeders.

Well knowing when to up grade from pinkies to fuzzies to hoppers. Depends on your snake girth and if you just fed your snake and he is looking for more.

They have plenty of books and also care sheets, you can google, a care sheet on corn snakes.

I also suggest you researching on cornsnakes for about 6 months before you do buy one.

1) Yes they are very easy to care for. All you really need to do is have the correct set up, feed them once weekly, and spot clean their cage daily. And clean cage fully once a month.

2) In my opinion, yes. It is still good to hold them occasionally, but they don't go all wild if you don't.

3) For me, hamsters always bite, I only have one out of my 5 corn snakes that bite

4) If you buy online they can be very cheap. I purchase mine at rodentpro.com

5) It all depends on the size of the snake.
