I found a turtle outside, and my place is like a desert, i feed it lettuce but he doest drink. well i gave him like a 4 inch cup and i think he spilled it, then i gave it a rectangular bowl and it was pretty big and pretty small bowl but it seems to use it as a bath.
its kinda the size of a babies head.
i have a 2 inch turtle but in a tank i feed it some food they gave me with it, um but the outside turtle doesn't seem it like it, I'm a turtle lover and really want to give this fellow a good welcome to his new home.

What type of turtle is it, and any clue on what it's suppose to eat?

Someone said I could use boric acid solution. How should I dilute it? And please explain in an understandable and simple way. For the turtle food, I have these pellets that aren't very good for turtles. Is there any way I can supplement vitamin A, calcium...etc. homemade or at home? Both of my turtles has a bit soft shell and more soft at the edge on top of the tail. I'm not sure if it's because it's a baby or what. Okay thanks.

I know that i can't put a collar on a tortise, so i was wondering if there was any other way to put something similar on my tortise.

this is because we recently lost my tortise (he lives partially outside (and we just found him)), and want him to have something on him, so if he's found we can be contacted. thanks!

so i raise rats and i'm interested in getting a snake that would be big enough to eat an adult rat. i'm not looking for some burmese python or anything, but a snake that's good for someone who isn't experienced with snakes. if you could also tell me what sized tank it should have also, i'd really appreciate it.

I put in some turtle food just about 2 days ago and my red ear sliders are not eating them. I put in 2 and I have 2 turtles. Why are the turtles not eating the food? How long will they survive without eating?

I feed my two beardies a daily salad of chopped, mixed turnip greens and collard greens (I buy bunches of whole leaves and wash them, tear them up, then mix them) but they are always slimy and/or smelly by the time I get to the bottom of the container. I keep them refrigerated in a sealed plastic tupperware--is there any better way to keep them so that they won't get all slimy and gross before I get to use them all? I only buy about a week's worth at a time. Thanks for any suggestions!
