i have a 5ft tank wit lots of warm water fish in it (guppies,sordtails,discus and tetras)

cud i add a turtle in wit dem i realy wnt 1 dere sooo cuite.

if i lowered the water a little bit and put in some of those plastic rocks that stick to the glass wit sucky things wud it b ok.

The smallest turtles you can easily find are the Mud Turtles, Musk Turtles, and some of the Painted Turtles. They will all hit 5-6" as adults and would gladly eat the fish. Even the young turtles will harass them and eat fins.

For example- guppies are commonly used as turtle food!

Try a plastic turtle statue for now. Your fish will be happier!

When it grows a little, it will eat your fish, probably starting with your guppies. It's amazing to see a turtle swimming in pursuit of a feeder fish.

At first, the tank will be ok, but you will defiantly need to get a bigger tank. It will be ok for the tutle... the fish on the oher hand will be a good snack.
So, if you like your fish, I would say get a separate tank to house the turtle.

any aquatic turtle you get will eat your fish even hatchlings will chase a fish and sometimes get lucky
