I bought a leopard gecko on july 4th and i have had it for a day
it walks aroung during the day time
shouldn't it be sleeping?
Also it never goes into the humid hide place.
it is 4-5 inches including the tail
it lives on calcium sand and it only eats from my hand
if i mist the tank will the sand create bacteria or something?

and my bearded dragon hates waxworms is there any way i can make my beardie eat them?

I just purchased a Green Iguana. She is tiny right now and I have her in a 20 gallon. I realize it is too small but I wanted to do some research before purchasing something larger next week. The people at the pet store are clueless so I was wondering what to house it in. I know they like to climb and I have seen those giant terrariums that are tall rather than long and have trees and stairs, I just wasn't sure if that was right or if I should just use a 55 gallon for a while. I just don't want to spend $200 on a tank if in 6 months I will need to purchase something larger. How fast do they grow and would it be worth buying a 55 gallon now and a custom or larger one later or should I just go for the giant one right away?

I'm getting a corn snake soon and I was researching how to take the best care for them. Do they need UV lighting because one of the websites I read said that they only need an under tank heater with no special lighting. Thanks alot :)

God Bless Ya'll

I believe my turtle is a western-painted turtle. I got it when it was very little. Now it has grown and has a sunken in shell. It's really noticable. The turtle does not use its back legs very much. It can't swim. There are no vets around me that can care for turtles. What do I do?

There is a bunch of male frogs outside my bedroom window making these LOUD croaking sounds all nightand me and my husband are going insane! How can we scare them away at night to get some sleep?

I have a great set-up for my red-ear slider turtle. I usually feed it by hand four pellets twice a day. I used to have a routine by feeing it in the morning and the night but for a week I was forced to get off the routine but now I want to go back to the routine but my turtle is not eating! During that week of being off the routine he still ate, but at odd times. My turtle is very active and seems healthy. Any suggestions? I have tried buying different brands of food. His old brand that he is used to is no longer sold, but I found something very similar...but no luck. Please save my turtle!
