I really want to get a green Iguana but i have to look into the cost of everything! I found where to get the iguana but i cant find a supplies list for the life of me I know where to get all the sutff but I dont know what stuff to get? Plz help me by giving me a supplies list or telling me where i can find one. thx!

So I've noticed my beardie do these three things and I dunno what they mean at all one of them I'm worried is a problem

1. when he basks he opens his mouth
2. I've only caught him doing this occasionally but while basking he will puff his beard up and it will turn black on the bottom.
3. Currently he is with another little beardie whose sex is undetermined. He will chase after the littler one and bite down on his head. He does this a lot and I don't know if it's a dominance thing or not.

I wanted to know can I feed my red eared slider bigger fish?He's still young,not a baby though,and I wanna feed him big fish.I think it will make him an ultimate predator turtle.Will it be harmful if I feed him bigger fish?I think it would be exciting to rip the bigger fish apart

My parents & I found a turtle in the middle of a road on Friday,July 6. We took it home & I want 2 find out what kind of turtle it is. I don't know if this will help, but we found the turtle in Newburg, Pennsylvania.

hello ac ouple weeks ago i got a baby green iguana and recently he has been sluggish so to day when i went to go pick her up she tried but couldn't move then i thought she was dehydrated so i gave her some more water thats when i saw what looks like a deformed egg but the shell is almost like slime so i really need help with what to do that does not include a trip to the vet because my parents think its a waste of money and won't let me unless i pay for it but i don't have any money or any thing to sell

I have a turtle that i found so me and my family "adopted it" and its in its tank but we noticed that it has a slimy coating coming off its skin and we can see it in the water. I dont know if the turtle is sick or what. Please Help.

I currently have one regular bulb in a lamp close to the floor for heat and need one light that emmulates sunshine so I don't have to take them outside. I know natural is best but I don't want to be switching up the temps all the time on them and I'd like them to be inside with me. Wich bulb, how much is the cost, can it be purchased locally or from a speacilty store? Any information you have is very helpful.

I have a 7 month old red eared slider. And latley he has been having problems, and its only been happening for about 1 1/2 weeks maybe. But he is breathing soooo heavy and like sometimes it looks as if he is choking and also he foams at the mouth like badly. He also sleeps like so much. And he has bug eyes alot of times. And my other turtle, she is 2 1/2 yrs, neverrrr had these problems...Can someone tell me whats wrong..help me?!?!? is he gonna die ? :'[

I have two red eared sliders and i have had them since they were little. My question is will they survive in an outdoor pond in colorado? Will I have to bring them in in the winter...or can they stay out during the winter as long as i keep the water from freezing. The pond is about 2 feet deep.

I have two turtles my daughter named them squirt and crash and they are both female. They sleep too much. About the whole day. Sometimes I think they are dead. They make no sudden movements. Then they wake up. And eat and then sleep. The place where i bought them was a man that was smoking next to them. Do u think that my turtles were sleepy becuz of that.

i bought my leopard gecko on july 4th i put it on rertile sand then yesterday i put it on towel paper because i forgot about the impaction thing
then on july 5th- today it turned a really light color from the neck down
is there something wrong with it?

Hey I just bought two Red Eared Slider turtles yesterday in New York City and I have a couple of questions:

How long should I expect them to live if I bought them from that pet trade people near Chinatown (I didn't know how currupt and horrbile that pet trading of the turtles was at the time, and now I'm vowing to give them a better life since they will most likely die if I let them free).

What will the cost be to get everything I need?

What should I expect from these turtles?

Any tips or concerns about these turtles I should be aware of?
