I might add that without proper lights and vitamins, she'll most likely die from metabolic bone disease. Iguana's are among the most difficult of lizards to keep healthy and the most commonly found at rescues. Frankly, if you can't afford the veterinarian, you shouldn't keep it. Part of the responsibility of owning an animal is properly caring for it. That goes for a $25 cornsnake to a $5000.00 green tree python. If you knew your parents wouldn't pay for a vet and you couldn't either, you should have waited to aquire one.

A baby iggy won't lay eggs. The white stuff you are seeing is called urates, the urine portion of excretion. What are her living conditions like? She needs 100F basking area 12 hours a day, a UVB bulb within 12 inches 12 hours a day, and a fresh, well balanced salad with vitamins daily. She also needs a pool to soak in and drink from available 24/7. Please go to www.anapsid.org for complete iggy care. Without proper temps and lights, she can't digest. Without a pool, she'll become very dehydrated.
