Is there any way i can put a picture up? I live in Boca Raton (south Florida) The snake is about 8-9 inches long with what looks like purple diamonds going down its back seperated by white/silver. A couple times when i got close it started to shake its tail. I have a picture if anybody is willing to look at it. Please help me out, my niece and nephew are coming tomorrow and if the snake is dangerous I plan on getting rid of it. Thank you

Found in my yard by my dog. It was over 7 feet long. Light grey with big dark grey blotches. Its head was kinda a fat diamond shape, solid dark grey. Someone told me it might be a boa constrictor. If it is, how old would it be at 7 ft?

It's not like one whole piece. There's one piece that came off the tail, another is part of his head. And it's still working on its body. If this isn't normal, how can I fix it?

my parents aren't so keen on the idea... They say we have a few too many pets (not quite true.. my brother has a hermit crab, we have a family dog and turtle, and I have a kitten)... I would be getting it in August from a small store near our beach house, fairly cheap with a basic set up... I would appreciate any pros and cons so I could work on my persuasion, and any tips on lizard care would be great!

Thanks in advance!

we had two hatchlings in the same tank, and the big one went and chomped the little one's tail. there's almost an inch that looks ready to drop off. will his tail continue to grow, or is it going to be stubby from now on??
my guy is somewhere between 3-5 weeks old.
we have seperated them now, sticking them into a 90 gallon tank, and putting a mesh screen in the middle. they can still see each other, but they can't get to each other. i really want to seperate them compleatly, but my boyfriend says he doesnt want to seperate them, cause they will forget each other. i told him that's the POINT, cause the dominance chain's gotta be broken, so the small one can catch up on size, but my boyfriend is being a jerk about it.
will the little guy's tail be ok?? i know that beardies don't regrow their tails, but it would be horrible if his tail's stumped off at such an early age.
and yes, we DO feed them enough. we feed them each about 15 - 20 crickets per feeding, three times a day.

Will the snake be able to crawl/slide up stairs?
I know running in a zig zag manner will slow up the speed in which the snake can catch up with you.
