I have a male sulcata who is 35lbs. and 8 yrs. old. I know of someone who is rehoming their male. Does anyone have 2 males and do they fight? What are your experiences with 2 males? I live on an acre, fenced and secure, as my male has full run of my yard. Thanks for any help!

Sometimes they fight, sometimes they don't.

It's hard to say what will happen. An acre is a good chunk of land, and its possible they'll be able to share it without incident. Then again maybe not. I'm assuming that you don't have a female as well, so they won't be fighting over her. However, torts can sometimes be territorial.

You can always try and introduce the torts and see what happens. If they don't fight, you'll still want to keep an eye on both of them to make sure they don't "disagree" later on. If they do fight, you've got two options:
1. decide not to take the other male.
2. divide the acre in half with a short fence(bury part of it so they can't dig their way to the other side), to keep them seperate.
